Opened in 1976 as the Scottsdale Conference Center, the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch was the first conference resort in the country.  The facility reopened on Septmber of 2015 after completing a massive $10 million renovation that transformed the resort and revitalized its amenities.

The deadline for reservations at the group rate is Monday, January 14, 2019.  After the 14th, any rooms remaining in our block will be returned back into the hotel's inventory and they will still accept reservations on our block, based upon their availability.

Mutual of Omaha Update from Alicia Hanson, National Sales Director - with details of a new Bonus Plan!

Join us for a Medicare oriented round table discussion led by Moderator Mike Smith of The Brokerage.  During this hour, we will consider the impact MACRA will have on the Med Sup industry as Plans F & C are eliminated 12-31-19.  How will this impact your agency this year?  What will happen to the existing books of Plan C &F?  Will there be higher rate increases?  We will also discuss the new OEP (Jan-Mar) and how to avoid compliance issues, but at the same time, build sales.  Finally, we will introduce a strategy to save your soon to retire adults age 65 or older that may be subject to IRMAA using Social Security Form 44.

Eric Buchanan will present a "can't miss" program on How to be Your Client’s Hero.  Eric represents disabled people and other policyholders across the United States in both ERISA and non-ERISA disputes, focusing primarily in the areas of disability, life, and health insurance.  This program will provide some great info on how to be the “Good Guy” when claims are denied.  Issues that occur when health, life, and disability claims are denied and end up in litigation, and how brokers and insurance salespeople can best set it up so their customers are protected and the insurance agent/broker is the “good guy.”
